# Record notes, photos and recommendations

## Before you start

- Check the work order and equipment the information relates to.

## 1. Choose the note context

Use the work order notes area to describe the work and checklist fields for observations about a unit. Respect the distinction between internal notes and information intended for the report.

## 2. Add useful photos

Use the available photo fields or actions to take or select an image. Include a view identifying the unit and another showing the relevant detail. Check the preview and upload status.

## 3. Describe the recommendation

Record the observed problem, affected unit and recommended action. Distinguish what was fixed during the visit from what needs future work. Review the text before completing.

## Check the result

The work order contains clear notes, photos and recommendations for the office to review before sending the report.

## If something gets in the way

### Is the photo still missing from the office view?

Check pending uploads and connectivity. Do not delete the image or uninstall the app until synchronization is confirmed. A local preview does not mean uploading has finished.
