## Before you start

- Define the inspection purpose and have access to report settings.

## 1. Check existing templates

Open Reports under Organization. Look for an equivalent template before creating another. A template contains the questions; responses are completed for each job.

## 2. Name the template

Choose Create, enter the required name and pick the scope: by equipment, by work order or by floor. Use a name that identifies the service, for example Annual extinguisher inspection.

## 3. Create and open the editor

Choose Create and add fields to open the editor. Add questions, review the preview and configure associations before using it in a work order.

## Check the result

The template exists and is ready for questions and associations.

## If something gets in the way

### Is the template still empty?

Creating the template with a name and scope creates the structure. Continue in the editor to add fields and test the inspection.
