# Add a service location

Keep several sites under one client and choose the right one for each visit.

## Before you start

- Create the client first. Have the address and site-specific instructions ready.

## 1. Open locations

Open the client record and the Locations tab. The main address belongs to the client record; use an additional location for another building, shop or site belonging to the same client.

## 2. Identify the site

Choose the add-location action. Give it a code and a name the team recognizes, for example L02 and North Warehouse. Enter the address and check the coordinates.

## 3. Add site instructions

Record technician notes and items to bring that apply to this site. Review the remaining applicable fields and save the location.

## 4. Select the site on a work order

When creating a work order, select the client first and then the work location. Check the displayed address before assigning technicians or scheduling the visit.

## Check the result

The new location appears on the client record and can be selected for a work order.

## If something gets in the way

### Does the visit show the wrong address?

Check the location selected on the work order itself. Adding a location to the client does not mean every existing work order now uses it.
